I CARE IF YOU LISTEN (ICIYL) features a unique blend of music criticism, promotional features, and multimedia content; ICIYL strives to be a leading advocate for artists who have been historically underrepresented or marginalized in Western classical music by highlighting equitable programming, facilitating challenging conversations, cultivating a safe platform, and creating educational resources.

We are giving underrepresented composers a platform to have their music heard. Composers that submit works to … And We Were Heard are matched with top-notch
ensembles and engage in collaborative recording sessions. The resulting audio tracks are hosted on our site along with innovative ideas of how to support diverse voices in music.
Kennedy Center Access/VSA
To ensure the arts are accessible to all—from children to older adults—we make Kennedy Center performances and facilities accessible to all audiences, and provide resources, programs, and opportunities for educators, cultural administrators, emerging and professional artists and performers with disabilities.
Mexican Repertoire Collection at Dartmouth
This is an open-source collection of authentically Mexican repertoire. With regards to this collection, authenticity is solely defined as a work being composed by Mexican or Mexican-American artists, thereby removing any preconceived notions or biases with regards to Mexican music and culture.
