Launch Party!
We are SO excited to announce this live show in downtown DC.
Matchstick Percussion has been playing together for a few years now, and we suspect some of you have seen us perform before, but this time feels different for us. This event is going to mark the beginnings of our business!
Matchstick’s mission has always been dedicated to promoting underrepresented voices and bridging the gap in gender and racial inconsistencies in our field. As a part of this mission, one of our main goals is to obtain non-profit status to better support our community. This is a long process that we have been taking steps towards in the background. This event will provide a definitive starting point for us.
The concert will begin at 7pm and will run approximately an hour and a half including 15 minute intermission. There will be a reception to follow where we would love to talk about our business or anything else! Event will end around 10pm
